vCardMaker is currently powered by a custom ASP.NET frontend and backend, ported from the previous PHP versions. The backend is available for anybody to download, view, modify and release under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 UK: England & Wales Licence. The frontend is unique to the vCardMaker website and its source code is not generally available.
vCardMaker was powered by a custom PHP frontend and backend. With the 0.7.0 release of vCardMaker, the backend was released for anybody to download, view, modify and release. With the 0.7.1 release, development moved to a new ASP.NET port.
The PHP and ASP.NET backends will both continue to be developed, with work concentrating on the ASP.NET version and being regularly ported to the PHP version.
